May Special Cakes for Mother’s Day & More
This May, Suzuya was blooming with sweet creations and heartfelt moments.
Our Yuzu Strawberry Rose Cake made a stunning appearance this month. With its soft sponge layers, fragrant yuzu cream, and a beautiful rose design topped with fresh strawberries, it truly looked as lovely as it tasted. One of our team members shared how hopeful they felt watching this cake go into the showcase—elegantly decorated and ready to brighten someone’s day.
Alongside it, we featured a specially decorated version of our classic Strawberry Shortcake, dressed up just for Mother’s Day. Soft, fluffy, and full of love, it became a favorite for many families celebrating moms of all ages.
As one of our staff noted on May 8th, the shop grew busier leading up to Mother’s Day. It was heartwarming to see so many customers come in looking for that perfect cake to share with someone special. These cakes, designed by our team, were made to bring smiles—and we’re so glad they did.
By May 11th, the celebration was in full bloom. We saw little ones proudly guiding their moms to pick out macarons, and grown children treating their mothers to coffee and cake. It was a beautiful day filled with warmth, gratitude, and sweet connections. We’re truly honored that so many chose to make Suzuya a part of their celebration.
