A Special Visit from Murakawa Culinary School

This past week, we had the incredible honor of welcoming 25 talented students from Murakawa Culinary School in Japan to Suzuya Patisserie! It was an inspiring and heartwarming experience to share our shop, our process, and the journey behind Suzuya with the next generation of pastry chefs.

From the moment they stepped into our kitchen, their enthusiasm and passion for the culinary arts were contagious. As they asked questions and observed our techniques, it reminded us of the excitement and curiosity that fuel this industry. Seeing their bright eyes and eager hands at work was a reminder of why we do what we do—to share our love for pastries and inspire others to follow their dreams.

These students are on their own unique paths, and I have no doubt that they will become incredible chefs, shaping the future of Japanese pastry and beyond. It was truly a privilege to connect with them, exchange stories, and encourage them as they embark on their culinary journeys.

A huge thank you to Murakawa Culinary School for visiting us! We are so grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of your learning experience. Wishing you all the best as you take your next steps—congratulations on your graduation! 🎓✨
