This revamped SUZUYA favorite is one cake that customers ask for again and again. This style is the second version of our SUZUYA original green tea cake. Chef Misuzu was so inspired on a trip to Japan that she created this recipe the day she returned.
Along with the best ingredients possible, we use a distinct matcha powder, imported directly from Japan. For those that have never tried this cake, they are in for a unique flavor experience. Subtle grass flavor is matched perfectly with red bean and caramelized almond. The end result: the right amount of sweetness cut by Matcha bitterness resulting in a perfectly balanced cake.
