To my surprise, they revealed that it’s their go-to dinner treat, a delicious remedy for long, tiring days. Their secret to maintaining the cake’s freshness? Wrapping it in cling film, ensuring it remains soft and moist all week long.

Then, we have Jason, a new yet frequent face. After savoring his morning Sando, he came up to share some feedback that truly warmed our hearts. He mentioned how everyone at SUZUYA always has a smile, and it’s “refreshing.” Reflecting on this, we believe that our consistent joy is because of the love we have for SUZUYA and the brilliant smiles we receive in return from customers like Jason. The work can indeed be demanding, but the happiness and satisfaction of our patrons make it all worthwhile.

For our students and those seeking a serene atmosphere, SUZUYA stands out. Our ambiance, characterized by calming music, exudes motivation. Although a significant portion of our clientele is from the southwest area, we’re constantly amazed and grateful for those who journey from further regions like Henderson just to get a taste of our offerings. This isn’t just any cheesecake – it’s our take on a Filipino-inspired sensation. From its very first day, it became an instant hit, and for a good reason. Topped with a light and nostalgically creamy layer, beautifully piped to perfection, it’s finished with toasted coconut flakes to give that iconic Filipino touch. One such moment that warmed our hearts occurred earlier today. A customer, having already picked up a sparkling yuzu drink, showed interest in our yuzu panna cotta. For those unfamiliar, this is a delightful and refreshing dessert that combines the zesty goodness of yuzu with the creamy tang of yogurt. Our guest decided to try it, and it’s safe to say she absolutely loved it!

Being a store that specializes in Japanese pastries and food, it brings us immense joy when we’re told that our offerings remind customers of Japan. Such interactions, like when a customer wanted to thank the owner personally, saying visiting SUZUYA felt like “coming home”, truly make our day.

But as we savor these moments, we’re also gearing up for the exciting season ahead. Fall is in the air, and our kitchen is buzzing with activity. With each passing day, our talented chefs surprise us with new creations, using the freshest seasonal ingredients. From spooky Halloween delights to heartwarming Thanksgiving specials, we’re sure our upcoming treats will add sweetness and warmth to your holiday celebrations.

On a side note, today the heavens opened up, bringing with them heavy rain and floods. While many sought refuge from the downpour, they found comfort in SUZUYA’s cozy ambiance. Our matcha latte, especially the one made with oat milk served hot, seemed to be the favorite choice. And though the rain might’ve dampened spirits outside, inside SUZUYA, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and cheer. One customer, drenched from the rain, didn’t let the weather stop her from getting her daily fix of extra hot oat milk matcha latte.

But it’s not just about the regulars. We love it when they introduce someone new to our space. There’s nothing like seeing a first-timer’s reaction to our offerings.

Speaking of offerings, here at SUZUYA, innovation in our kitchen never stops. Last but not least, a heartwarming tale about mochis. Levi’s grandkids, all the way from San Jose, California, are die-hard fans of our mochi. The twins recently visited Las Vegas and indulged in our mochis almost daily while staying with their grandma. Although the mango mochi remains a favorite, it’s a seasonal delight. Sadly, the wait for its return will be a year. Till then, there’s plenty more to explore and enjoy.
